Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of the Big Room Print Studio website and to any order you place with us. Big Room Print Studio is a business of Abundare Pty Ltd (ABN 86 604 522 581). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Abundare Pty Ltd trading as Big Room Print Studio, and "you" means the person or business placing an order.
By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
1. Our products are made to order
Almost everything we sell is custom printed to your specifications. Each item is produced specifically for you once your order and artwork are confirmed. Because of this, custom items are treated differently from off-the-shelf goods, particularly when it comes to cancellations and returns. Please read sections 4, 7 and 8 carefully.
2. Artwork and intellectual property
You keep ownership of any artwork you supply. By submitting artwork to us, you grant us the limited right to store, reproduce and print that artwork only as needed to fulfil your order.
By submitting artwork, you warrant that you own all necessary rights or have permission to reproduce the artwork. You indemnify us against claims arising from copyright or trademark infringement.
We do not check, and are not responsible for verifying, whether you hold the rights to the artwork you supply. If we have a reasonable concern that artwork may infringe someone else's rights or may be unlawful, we may decline or cancel the order.
3. File requirements and quality
The print quality of your finished product depends on the quality of the files you supply. We print what you approve. If a supplied file is low resolution, incorrectly sized or set up in a way that affects the result, we will raise it with you where we can, but we are not responsible for quality issues that come from the supplied artwork itself.
4. Proofs and approval
For most custom orders we provide a digital proof for you to review before we print. It is your responsibility to check the proof carefully, including spelling, colours, sizing, layout and the cut line.
Production starts from the moment you approve your proof. By approving, you confirm the spelling, colours, sizing, layout and cut line are correct and you authorise us to print. Reprints needed because of an error on a proof you have approved are charged as a new order.
If you ask us to hold or change an order after you have approved the proof, we will do our best to accommodate it, but we cannot guarantee changes once production has begun.
5. Colour and print variation
Colours shown on a screen are not an exact match for printed colours. Screens emit light and use a different colour model to print, so some variation between what you see on your device and the finished product is normal and is not a fault.
Slight variation can also occur between separate print runs of the same artwork. Where colour accuracy is critical to you, please tell us before approving your proof so we can discuss options.
6. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Custom prices are calculated based on the size, quantity and options you select. Full payment is required before we begin production unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
We make every effort to keep pricing accurate. If a genuine pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing the order and you may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
7. Turnaround and dispatch
Any turnaround or dispatch time we give is an estimate, not a guarantee. Production time is measured from the point your proof is approved and payment has cleared, not from when the order is placed. Delays caused by artwork issues, proof approval, supplier stock or delivery carriers are outside our control.
8. Cancellations and changes
Because items are custom made, your ability to cancel depends on where the order is in our process:
- Before you approve your proof, contact us as soon as possible and we will cancel and refund the order.
- Once you have approved your proof and production has begun, the order generally cannot be cancelled, as work and materials have already been committed to your job.
9. Returns, refunds and your consumer rights
Custom printed products are made specifically for you, so we are not able to accept returns or provide refunds simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a product is faulty, significantly different from what was described or approved, or is not of acceptable quality, you are entitled to a remedy. Please see our Refund Policy and contact us so we can put it right.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and where our liability can lawfully be limited, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing the product or refunding the price you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, arising from your use of our products or this website.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
